The East/West Coast Years — 2000 to 2007

Alley lived a bi-coastal musical life, performing in: New York City, Upstate New York, Los Angeles, and Ventura, California She played: Coffee houses, clubs, small venues, open mics, community events, and intimate gatherings. Her performances were stripped down — voice, guitar, story. Influences included Ani DiFranco, Alison Pipitone, Melissa Etheridge, Tracy Chapman, Jewel, Dar Williams, Sarah McLachlan, and The Indigo Girls.
